Her past intertwines with Raoh's; he saved her from wolves in her youth, sparking lifelong admiration. Later, she sought to comfort him after Ryuken defeated him in a spar, but he rejected her due to his feelings for Yuria. She also witnessed Raoh's attempt to claim Yuria before Toki intervened, deepening her sorrow.

After Raoh uncovers her deception, Tou declares her love. Recognizing Raoh is drawn to Yuria's Jibosei (Merciful Mother Star) due to his own lack of maternal love, Tou accepts her feelings are unrequited. She seizes a knife from Raoh's belt and takes her own life, hoping to be remembered in his heart. Raoh curses her foolishness, stating true love would have driven her to kill him and prevent others from claiming him.

Beyond her sacrificial role, Tou participates in tactical operations for the Last Nanto General, infiltrating Juza's hideout disguised as a serving girl and spiking his drink to capture him—a tactic Juza later condemns as a "dirty trick."

In the spin-off *DD Hokuto no Ken*, Tou appears with a significantly altered design. Supplementary materials hint at her potential maternal connection to Raoh's son, Ryu.
