Description
Jin Kaitō is a twenty-two-year-old man whose profession is built upon his exceptionally attractive appearance and lady-killer looks. He works as a professional gigolo, operating under the motto of making every woman happy and advertising his services with the bold catchphrase: “For just 50,000 yen, I’ll escort you to paradise.”
He initially attended university but left to pursue his current occupation full-time. While walking through the city, he scouts for potential female clients, showing a preference for attractive women. The job involves inherent dangers; his refusal to join a gang necessitates constant vigilance against violent attacks from thugs. These threats, however, do little to disturb his generally relaxed and cool demeanor.
He often projects a confident image and delivers smooth, somewhat cheesy lines reminiscent of cheap pulp novels, an approach that holds a certain appeal for his clientele. Despite this confident exterior, he is not always decisive in conflicts and can find himself out of his depth, at times requiring rescue by others.
One notable incident involved a challenge from a woman named Ai Mizushima to make her scream with pleasure—a wager he accepted due to the prize being a brand new sports car. In another event, he saved a girl named Yuna from a gang of delinquents. At her request, he provided his services in return but was ultimately forced to flee due to her bottomless sexual appetite.
His activities often intersect with organized crime. He became inadvertently involved in a conflict over a stolen 100 million yen from drug deal slush funds following his encounter with Yuna, who had connections to the Jōsai gang. On a separate occasion, he returned to his old town and was approached by an old yakuza acquaintance named Minoh for help after the boss's daughter, Maki, was kidnapped by a rival gang. He initially refused the request, but his involvement became unavoidable when it was revealed he had slept with Maki just prior to her abduction, dragging him into a full-scale rescue operation.
He shares a residence with a female roommate, with whom he maintains a friends-with-benefits relationship.
