Mio Tōsaka is a member of the pole dancing group Galaxy Princess. An enthusiastic cosplayer and costume maker, she first encountered pole dancing when she was scouted by Lilia Saijou and Hinano Hoshikita at a hamburger restaurant while they were searching for new members for their studio. At that point Mio had no knowledge of pole dancing, but she was captivated by the elaborate costumes worn by the dancers in a performance video of the renowned dancer Eldange. This fascination with the visual artistry of the costumes, rather than the dance itself, convinced her to accept their invitation. Mio is a devoted fan of the long-running magical girl manga series Mahou Shoujo Arcana Um, and her deepest dream is to one day wear the protagonist’s costume and perform a pole dance routine in character. She is an otaku who pours her energy into her hobbies, sparing no effort to embody the characters she loves. Among the four original members of Galaxy Princess, Mio initially had the least physical fitness and struggled with the demanding training. However, she possessed high latent potential and steadily improved her strength and technique through dedicated practice. By the time of their first competition, she had grown into a capable performer, with only Hinano surpassing her in overall ability. Her role in the group extends beyond dancing; her talent for designing and sewing costumes adds a unique creative dimension to their performances, allowing the team to present visually distinctive routines. Mio is 152 centimeters tall, with long multicolored hair and green eyes. She develops as a character from a novice with no dance background into a confident and skilled pole dancer who fully embraces both the athletic and artistic sides of the discipline. Her relationships with her teammates deepen as they train together, and her passion for costume making becomes an integral part of Galaxy Princess’s identity.
