Yui Ogura is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on August 15, 1995, in Gunma Prefecture. Her career in entertainment began in childhood; she started as a child actor in 2001 and later trained as an idol. Before her voice acting debut, she performed the motion capture for Hatsune Miku in the 2009 game Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA, a role that brought her early recognition. She made her voice acting debut in 2008 and received her first anime role in 2009 as Mint in Yumeiro Patissiere. Ogura graduated from Showa Women's University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology in March 2018.

Ogura has built an extensive career in anime, voicing a wide variety of characters. Some of her notable and long-running roles include Kokona Aoba in the Encouragement of Climb series, Priestess in Goblin Slayer, Hinata Hakamada in Ro-Kyu-Bu!, and Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi in The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.. She has also played major roles in popular series such as Homare Kagayaki/Cure Étoile in Hugtto! PreCure, Sanae Tsukimoto in Teasing Master Takagi-san, and Alice in Heaven's Memo Pad. Her filmography includes a vast range of other characters, such as Sue in So I'm a Spider, So What?, Hime Shirasagi in Yuri Is My Job!, Miko-chan in Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost, Myu in Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest, and Yaya Fushiguro in Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, among many others. She has also lent her voice to characters in video games, notably Shiroko Sunaookami in Blue Archive and March 7th in Honkai: Star Rail.

In addition to her voice acting, Ogura has had a significant career as a singer. She was a member of the idol duo YuiKaori with Kaori Ishihara and the unit StylipS. She made her solo singing debut in 2012 with the single Raise, which was used as the ending theme for the anime Campione! and reached number eight on the Oricon weekly chart. Her music career has continued with the release of multiple singles and albums, and she has held several solo concert tours. Her song Fightin★Pose was used as the first opening theme for the anime The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!.

Throughout her career, Ogura has been affiliated with several talent agencies. She has been with agencies including Sigma Seven, Clare Voice, Just Production, and Atomic Monkey, before transferring to Style Cube on April 1, 2022. Her record label is Nippon Columbia. In 2015, she was appointed as a tourism ambassador for Midori City in her home prefecture of Gunma. She has also held fan meetings internationally, including events in Seoul, South Korea, in 2024 and 2025.
