Description
RaiRyu, designated G.B.R-07, is a G-Stone Driven Brave robot developed by China's Space and Aviation Academy using technical data provided by the Gutsy Galaxy Guard. Its name, translating to "Thunder Dragon," utilizes Chinese characters reflecting its country of origin. Classified as a Super-AI Vehicle Machine, RaiRyu transforms from an 18.5-meter-long, 5-meter-wide dump truck weighing 230 tons and capable of 340 km/h speeds into a 20.5-meter-tall humanoid robot. It operates using an Ul-Tech Unified G-Drive energy system with a maximum output of 340,000 kW.
Specializing in electrical combat, RaiRyu wields its electromagnetic dump bed component, the Dian-Zhuang-Huo. This integrates the Lei-Dun lightning-controlling device, functioning as a shield, hoverboard, and weapon. A chest dial system, TiGao, accesses four combat levels: Level 1 enables flight via the hoverboard; Level 2 discharges widespread electricity; Level 3 generates an electric barrier; Level 4 concentrates ultra-high voltage lightning bursts through its fingertips.
Personality-wise, RaiRyu exhibits a hotheaded and boisterous nature, viewing EnRyu as an older brother. Initial programming prioritized enemy destruction, listing human rescue only 14th. This changed when RaiRyu witnessed HyouRyu and EnRyu sacrifice themselves to shield it from enemy fire. This event prompted RaiRyu and its partner FuuRyu to elevate human protection to their foremost directive. RaiRyu also shares EnRyu's difficulty with aerial landings, often crashing despite using its hoverboard.
RaiRyu forms combined robots through Symmetrical Docking: with FuuRyu, it creates the offensively powerful GekiRyuJin, capable of the "Shuang Tou Long" energy dragon attack. With HyouRyu, it combines into GenRyuJin when synchronization exceeds 200%, typically enabled by exposure to "THE POWER" energy from Jupiter. GenRyuJin employs "Thunder Blizzard" attacks and can execute the combined "Maximum Tou Long" technique with GouRyuJin.
During the conflict against ZX-05, RaiRyu's initial reckless tactics inadvertently caused civilian casualties and damaged fellow Braves. Following reprogramming after the HyouRyu/EnRyu rescue incident, RaiRyu demonstrated improved coordination in later battles. It participated in high-stakes maneuvers, including deploying a self-destruct bomb stored within its structure while maintaining Symmetrical Docked form with FuuRyu during critical engagements.
