Description
Friendshipman, alias Yuujouman, hails from the extraterrestrial Hero Star, a planet solely inhabited by superheroes. He is part of an alien superhero family with his two brothers, Victoryman (Shouriman) and Endeavorman (Doryokuman). Together, they form the Doryoku Sankyōdai, the Effort Trio. Their species can disguise themselves as humans for prolonged periods on Earth to blend into society.

During childhood on Hero Star, Friendshipman was close to his brothers. A pivotal rift occurred over 200 years before the main events during a crucial Hero Tournament. Endeavorman displayed remarkable potential, surprising Friendshipman and Victoryman. The older brothers then manipulated Endeavorman into appearing as a cheater during his match against Victoryman, resulting in Endeavorman's disqualification and a 200-year ban from hero certification. This betrayal originated from a promise their dying mother extracted from Victoryman, demanding he prevent Endeavorman from becoming a superhero. Friendshipman participated in this deception, contributing to Endeavorman's disgrace and exile.

Centuries later, Friendshipman and Victoryman journeyed to Earth, reuniting with Endeavorman. On Earth, Friendshipman adopts the human alias Yuujou Atsui to attend middle school with his brothers and Luckyman's civilian identity, Yoichi Tsuitenai. In this disguise, he wears a standard school blazer modified with white sleeves featuring images of a man exclaiming "Wa~" (symbolizing harmony) and pants adorned with paper chain people on the knees.

Transforming into his superhero form requires assistance; his friends physically dress him in a pink-and-white costume emblazoned with the kanji "yūjō" (友情, "friendship") on the chest. His superhero appearance includes ears shaped like two pairs of shaking hands. These functional ears operate independently and can detach to perform actions such as tickling opponents. A sun motif adorns his head, featuring two small silver figures embracing at its center.

His core superpower is friendship-based: he passively emits an aura compelling even bitter rivals near him to become close friends. This ability usually lets him avoid direct combat by recruiting these new allies to fight for him. When forced into physical confrontation, he accesses a "Demon-mode," transforming into a combatant as powerful as Victoryman or Geniusman. Despite his gentle and affectionate nature, he remains pragmatic about conflict and often acts as a calming influence, particularly on the volatile Victoryman.

His relationship with Endeavorman evolves significantly after their Earth reunion. While the betrayal casts a long shadow, shared missions against alien threats facilitate gradual reconciliation. He integrates into Luckyman's team alongside his brothers and other heroes like Geniusman and Superstarman. They operate under the Hero Committee's elite unit, the Best 16 Super Heroes, which consists of six core protectors, including Friendshipman, supplemented by ten additional heroes selected through a tournament.

A unique physiological aspect is his detachable hands forming his ears. These serve both communicative and tactical purposes, extending his friendship-based powers into physical interactions. His journey reflects themes of reconciliation, moving from past complicity in his brother's suffering to active participation in a protective team.
