Description
Hajime Onodera is a director at the Daito production company, obsessively focused on acquiring the performance rights to the legendary stage play "Kurenai Tennyo" ("The Crimson Goddess"). These rights are held by Chigusa Tsukikage, the retired actress who mentors Maya Kitajima, and she refuses to sell them.

To force Tsukikage into relinquishing the rights, Onodera employs underhanded tactics. He actively schemes to financially cripple Tsukikage's acting school and drive it out of business. He frequently accompanies Masumi Hayami, the young president of Daito, during confrontations with Tsukikage.

Onodera's actions significantly fuel the adversarial relationship between Maya Kitajima and Masumi Hayami. Witnessing Onodera working directly under Hayami's command to undermine her mentor's school, Maya directs her hatred towards Hayami. This animosity stems largely from Onodera's visible execution of harmful plans against Tsukikage, while Maya remains unaware that Hayami is also her secret benefactor, the "Purple Rose Person."

Onodera's character is defined solely by his professional position at Daito, his singular goal regarding "Kurenai Tennyo," and his antagonistic role within the central conflict between Daito and Tsukikage's troupe.
