Jendo, also known as Gendo or Gend, is a Dark Elf survivor bearing the marks of his past: dark skin, pointy ears, and a visible scar. His homeland's destruction forged a warrior defined by loss and resilience. He journeys with companions Kai and Izayoi, seeking potential coexistence between humans and demons. As the group's primary combatant, Jendo shoulders the bulk of offensive and defensive actions, wielding his sword with significant prowess. His pragmatic, no-nonsense demeanor frequently places him at odds with Izayoi's impulsive choices, especially when they endanger the group or court disaster. Jendo openly challenges this recklessness where others might excuse it. His survivor experience deeply informs his worldview, emphasizing consequence and accountability, and provides a grounding contrast to the idealism of his companions. His scar may stem from this past trauma. Jendo's narrative role is confined to the original OVA storyline.
