OVA
Description
Kyoshiro Nagumo, former owner of Aoi ZIP Formula, returned after imprisonment stemming from the Al-Zard incident during Cyber Formula SAGA. Witnessing Jotaro Kaga (Bleed Kaga) struggle with outdated equipment upon his return to the 17th Cyber Formula World Grand Prix, Nagumo intervened. Facing the imminent disbandment of the Aoi team without a championship victory, Nagumo provided Kaga with the prototype Ogre AN-21, developed as the predecessor to the Al-Zard series.

The Ogre AN-21 housed an advanced bio-computer system created by Nagumo's late brother, Masaki Nagumo. This system had proven lethally demanding, overwhelming previous test drivers. Nagumo, convinced Kaga possessed the unique skill and determination to master it, saw the Ogre as the only machine capable of challenging Hayato Kazami's Asurada due to their shared technological roots. His goal extended beyond victory; he sought to vindicate his brother's legacy by proving the bio-computer's potential in capable hands.

During Kaga's Ogre training, Nagumo offered strategic counsel and arranged support from bio-computer-experienced drivers like Grey Steinback and Phill Fritz. He staunchly defended the Ogre's use against Kyoko Aoi, who blamed him for endangering Kaga and attempted to destroy the vehicle before the final race, maintaining unwavering belief in Kaga's ultimate triumph.

Following Kaga's championship victory, Nagumo received his farewell message acknowledging the win. He expressed gratitude to Kaga on behalf of his brother, declaring the victory the fulfillment of the bio-computer's purpose. This outcome marked Nagumo's departure from direct involvement in Cyber Formula.
