Hong Siho
Description
Hong Siho is a South Korean voice actor born on November 2, 1959. He began his career in the voice acting industry in 1986, debuting as part of the 20th cohort of voice actors for the KBS broadcasting station. He is primarily known for his extensive work dubbing foreign animations and series for the Korean market.
Throughout his career, Hong Siho has lent his voice to a wide array of characters in numerous popular anime series. Some of his most notable roles include the villainous Naraku in Inuyasha, the wise Shinigami partner Fool in Kaleido Star, and the powerful vampire Diva in Blood+. He has also been the Korean voice for significant characters in long-running series, such as Zangetsu in Bleach, Tobi and Madara Uchiha in Naruto Shippūden, and Shanks in One Piece.
His film work includes voicing Kurotowa in the Korean dub of the Studio Ghibli classic Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. He also took on the role of the iconic and powerful Pokémon Mewtwo in the 2019 CG film Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution. This role connects to one of the user's examples, showcasing his continued presence in major anime projects. In the OVA series Future GPX Cyber Formula Sin, he provided the voice for the character Na Heonbin, known in the original Japanese as Kyoshiro Nagumo.
