Description
Rebecca "Becky" Lambert is a 17-year-old thrill-seeking thief operating in Paris from her riverboat home. She emulates Lupin III's signature methods from nearly two decades prior, marked by a butterfly tattoo and a habit of sticking out her tongue as her calling card. Becky is the daughter of Catherine Lambert, Lupin's former partner "The Black and Silver Thief," murdered by Interpol chief Brian Murphy over the Bull's Eye jewel. Following her mother's death and her father's disappearance, she was raised by the figure known as Lumberjack. Her driving motivation is avenging Catherine by stealing the Bull's Eye, unaware it contains a micro-transmitter Murphy exploits to track and eliminate thieves.

Her skills include twin grappling hooks for mobility and combat, technological expertise for evading surveillance, and proficiency with a Walther P38. Her debut theft hijacks a truck transporting Bourbon dynasty treasures, drawing Inspector Zenigata's pursuit under the mistaken belief she is Lupin or Fujiko Mine. She repeatedly crosses paths with Lupin, first stealing the Bull's Eye from him using a gyrocopter, then challenging him to rob a casino safe where she deposits the gem.

Her dynamic with Lupin is non-romantic; he acts as a reluctant mentor, warning against recklessness and revenge, stressing the Bull's Eye's lethal nature. Becky resists his guidance, resulting in physical confrontations like slaps or pointing his own gun at him. Despite this tension, Lupin intervenes to save her multiple times, including during a Metro clash with Murphy's assassin and after her abduction by Joseph Malkovich. Malkovich forces Becky and Fujiko Mine to wear explosive necklaces, coercing Becky to point a gun at Lupin. Distressed, she fires, only to find the gun a non-functional prop as part of his plan.

The climax reveals Murphy as her mother's killer. After his defeat, Becky heeds Lupin's counsel, abandoning her vengeance quest. She parts ways with him, choosing to stay with Lumberjack and acknowledging she isn't part of the "Lupin Collection." A recurring thread involves Jigen and Goemon teasing that Lupin might be her father, a notion Lupin consistently denies.
