Description
Amuro the Knight begins his service as a young knight in the Lacroa Kingdom's Lacroa Knights. He actively battles the forces of Satan Gundam alongside Knight Gundam during the initial conflict threatening the Saddrac World. His early armor design reflects Federation-style mobile suits from the Universal Century timeline.
After Satan Gundam's defeat, Amuro's journey continues in "Algus Knights." Following Knight Alex's capture by the Munzo Empire, Amuro assumes leadership of the Algus Knights. Initially facing resistance, especially from Wizard Nu who doubts a human's capability, Amuro earns the knights' trust by demonstrating his resolve and leadership. He leads the revitalized Algus Knights against the Munzo Empire, influenced by the antagonistic Zeon race.
Amuro's character develops further across the saga. In "Knight of Light," he ascends to lead the Lacroa Knights. His armor evolves: shifting from the initial Federation-inspired design to a Dijeh mobile suit style during his Algus Knights tenure, and later resembling the Nu Gundam, signifying his progression and elevated status. He consistently rides the holy flying horse, Pegasus Whitebase.
Within the Lacroa Kingdom, Knight Sayla is his sister. Their family lineage involves protecting the Three Sacred Instruments. Knight Sayla suffers a curse from the Zeon Clan, transforming her into a Slime Adzam; the curse is broken by defeating Sorceress Lalah. Mystery Knight Char, later Golden Knight, is her brother and thus Amuro's sibling. Char journeys to find her and break their shared curse, later playing a pivotal role aiding against threats like Sieg Zion.
Amuro the Knight's legacy extends beyond the original narrative. He reappears in subsequent Knight Gundam stories like "Seikihei Monogatari" and "Kikoushin Densetsu." In the "New Testament SD Gundam Gaiden: Saddrac Knight Saga," his enduring presence is acknowledged when he is summoned, alongside original companions Fighter Guncannon and Priest Guntank, by Knight Unicorn Gundam to confront revived Zeon Clan threats.
