Though designed as a guardian, these abilities often trigger chaotic mishaps.

Gatchan communicates via playful vocalizations like “poo pee poh,” unintelligible to most yet mysteriously deciphered by Arale and Turbo Norimaki. Its origins trace to a celestial mandate—sent by a higher power to stifle technological advancement, ensuring ecological balance by keeping civilizations primitive. Senbei’s tampering during incubation thwarted this mission, prompting divine contemplation of humanity’s eradication. However, observing Penguin Village’s peaceful coexistence averted catastrophe.

Its name merges “Gamera” and “Gojira” (Godzilla), encapsulating a duality echoed in its alternate title, “Gadzilla”—a whimsical yet potent entity bridging childlike charm and kaiju-inspired chaos.
