Description
Gorosuke Kaminari is a child imprisoned by the Silver Company, with his captivity triggering a prolonged desert drought. The Silver Company exploits his ability to generate water and manipulate weather for profit, causing widespread water scarcity. Discovered during Pink and Cobalt Blue's confrontation with the Silver Company, Gorosuke is freed from confinement. His immediate release prompts him to produce rain, countering the drought. However, he loses control over his weather powers, resulting in excessive rainfall that floods the entire landscape. This resolves the drought but creates a new environmental extreme.

Gorosuke Kaminari shares continuity with the Thunder Ogre from Akira Toriyama's broader works, originating in the manga *Mysterious Rain Jack* as a cloud-dwelling ogre responsible for weather patterns who maintains a relationship with Pikako. The character draws inspiration from Raijin, the Shinto deity of lightning, thunder, and storms, and his visual design fluctuates between depictions featuring one or two horns. Within the *Dr. Slump* series, Gorosuke appears observing events from the clouds, interacting with Arale Norimaki after she lands on his cloud, featuring in weather reports, and participating in Penguin Village community activities. His role in *Pink Mizu Dorobō Ame Dorobō* remains his most narratively significant appearance, driving the core conflict and resolution through his captivity and subsequent release.
