Turbo-kun is the biological son of Senbei Norimaki and Midori Norimaki, born after their marriage. As younger brother to the robot Arale Norimaki, he resides with the Norimaki family in Penguin Village. His natural human birth contrasts directly with Arale's mechanical origins. In one escapade, Turbo-kun invented a robotic duplicate of himself to bypass leash restrictions, intending the clone to remain tethered while he explored freely. The plan unraveled when Senbei mistook the robot for Turbo-kun and took it to the beach. There, the clone malfunctioned and crawled away autonomously, triggering unexpected complications. Demonstrating Senbei-like inventiveness, Turbo-kun later engineered a specialized watch that temporarily altered physical age. This device transformed Arale into an adult woman, drawing considerable attention throughout Penguin Village. Though his technical skills show potential, his inventions often precipitate chaotic results. Turbo-kun shares sibling bonds with both Arale and the creature Gatchan. He uniquely comprehends Gatchan's distinct vocalizations—such as "koo pee pee"—enabling communication between them, mirroring Arale’s understanding of Gatchan’s language. His family role centers on childhood experiences, periodically involving inventive projects or minor misadventures.
