Shiso Jura initially ruled the world jointly with Shaman Khan of the Tenshi faction as leader of the Akuma. Seishin Nadia presented each leader with a young god: Shiso Jura received Black Zeus, while Shaman Khan received Super Zeus. Dissatisfied with shared power, Shiso Jura plotted to absorb both young gods for supreme authority. He swallowed Black Zeus to augment his power, igniting war with the Tenshi. This forced Seishin Nadia to split the world into separate halves for the factions, casting most Omamori protectors into the rift between them.

Absorbing Black Zeus enhanced Shiso Jura's abilities, granting him flight via wings and enabling him to enforce loyalty among the Akuma. His primary weapons included the extending Jaken sword, the rotating piercing spikes of his Snake Tusk attack launched from his bracelet, and the Devil Triangle confinement ability using his expandable tail. Years after the division, he commanded Akuma forces to attack the Tenshi half. During battle against a matured Super Zeus, Black Zeus grew uncontrollably within him. Overwhelmed, Shiso Jura detached from combat, flew away involuntarily, and exploded, resulting in his apparent death and Black Zeus's destruction. The explosion also forced the separated world halves further apart.

In the collectible sticker series, Shiso Jura is classified as a Head-type seal from series 6. His character design and narrative role remain consistent across adaptations, with no additional background beyond these events.
