Description
Liena Grace Vincent is the twin sister of Gray Michael Vincent. Standing 150 cm tall and weighing 38 kg, she has blonde hair, green eyes, and an apparent age of 12. Her birthday is April 30th, and her blood type is AB. Her manga attire is a black jumpsuit paired with a red vest and black fingerless gloves, while the anime presents her in a maroon jumpsuit, a red jacket with rolled sleeves and white trimmings, and white fingerless gloves. Her B-DaBalls are yellow, matching her hair.
She maintains a kind and reasonable disposition, especially during challenges, and consistently shows willingness to help others. While generally able to divert her attention from stressors, she harbors a strong sense of responsibility for incidents involving her, even when not directly at fault. Deep loyalty defines her relationship with her brother Gray, whom she looks up to and strives to stay near. This loyalty occasionally attracts attention from male characters like Sigma and Wen.
A significant part of her story involves capture by the Shadow Alliance, who use her as leverage to coerce Gray into their service. During this period, she appears in Gray's flashbacks involving Chrome Zephyr. Later, after being freed, she falls victim to Ababa's brainwashing. Disguised as Sigma with his cape and mask over her own clothing, she competes in the Elite Eight stage of the IBA Winners Tournament. As the imposter Sigma, she faces Terry McScotty in the semi-finals, discards Scope General, and reveals her true B-Daman, Garnet Wind. She defeats Terry using questionable techniques, fulfilling her mission before rejoining the Shadow Alliance.
Subsequently, at Shadow Alliance headquarters, she confronts Gray as a traitor and challenges him to a B-DaBattle, though Yamato battles her instead. Yamato's words trigger flashbacks of Gray's reassurances, causing Liena to exhibit gradual resistance to the brainwashing. Yamato's "Spinning Cobalt Power Blast" frees her mind completely, leading to an emotional reunion with Gray. Following her recovery, she aids the group in defending Yamato during Cobalt Saber's completion and later relinquishes her tournament position to Gray. She remains involved in subsequent events, confronting the Longhorn Brothers Gang and participating in the response to the Neo Shadow Alliance threat. When Gray and others leave to challenge the Neo Shadow Alliance, she is left behind for safety but later joins Mie and Armada to search for them.
In *Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits!*, she actively seeks a Strike Shot. She encounters Gray after he obtains a Speed Shot and intervenes when Haja steals it, though she loses to Haja in a Direct Hit Battle. This setback empowers Gray to defeat Haja. Later, at a B-Coliseum, she achieves a time of nine seconds in an Ultimate Strike challenge but finds no Strike Shot prize. She reunites with Yamato and Tommi, who agree to assist her search.
Her battle record includes victories, losses, and challenges: against Terry McScotty (win while controlled, Ultimate Strike), Yamato Delgado (loss while controlled, Battle Hammer), Assado (no result, Direct Hit Battle), Haja (loss, Direct Hit Battle), Ultimate Strike (nine seconds), and Six Wall Challenge (Perfect 100).
