Description
Gold Claw commands terror as a high-ranking member of Panther Claw, one of the Four Gods embodying the club suit. Her muscular form displays sharp feline features and teeth, clad in ornate golden armor, a helmet with a blade-like extension, and a ponytail. Utterly loyal to Panther Claw's goals of domination, she frequently punctuates her speech with four-character idioms.
Her formidable combat prowess grants her strength to punch through walls and expertise in hand-to-hand fighting. She wields specialized weaponry integrated into her armor: the Golden Hammer for crushing blows, Golden Missiles launched from her shoulders, and the Golden Storm technique where her helmet blade spins like a propeller for flight or offense. A signature final attack unleashes missiles from her chest. In the live-action film, she gains three blades on her left arm for slashing and gun barrels on her right arm for ranged assaults.
Within *Re: Cutie Honey*, Gold Claw emerges as the protagonist's first major adversary. She launches her campaign by assaulting a television station to declare Panther Claw's control over the city. Battling next at a police headquarters, she captures Inspector Natsuko Aki to force Honey's surrender. She restrains Honey and attempts execution with her breast missiles. Honey ultimately destroys her using a frequency-based attack that disrupts her nanomachines, vaporizing Gold Claw.
In the live-action film continuity, she participates in kidnapping Dr. Utsugi for nanotechnology. Following a standoff with police and a battle against Cutie Honey at a sea bunker, she flees using her propeller helmet. Though surviving this encounter, she later appears before Panther Claw leader Sister Jill. Jill executes Gold Claw for her failure against Honey, dropping her into a pit.
Design parallels exist between Gold Claw's armored appearance and characters like Jun's mother in *Iron Virgin Jun*. Information regarding her presence in other *Cutie Honey* seasons, spin-offs, or additional media beyond these depictions remains limited.
