During Terrorcon assaults on Earth, she maintained composure, even baking cookies with Sally while drones approached their refuge, symbolizing her stabilizing presence. Living on Ocean City during Dr. Jones's Cybertron research, she expressed concern over Kicker's loner tendencies. When Optimus Prime ordered Earth mining cities evacuated, she escorted Sally to safety while Kicker stayed with the Autobots. Following the energon tower project's start, Miranda and Sally returned to Ocean City to reunite with Dr. Jones. Miranda frequently worried for Kicker's safety during missions like his confrontation with Demolishor on the moon. She later consoled Dr. Jones when Kicker pursued Alpha Q alone, reassuring him of their son's capability. Accompanying Dr. Jones back to Cybertron, she anxiously awaited Kicker's fate during the final battle with Unicron, briefly reconnecting via video message. After Unicron's defeat, the family celebrated on Cybertron until Megatron's return. Dr. Jones attempted their evacuation, but Sally refused to leave without him. The destroyed space port forced them to hide in Cybertron's air ducts, evading Six Shot and Demolishor. Alongside Rad White, they survived in the passages, avoiding Terrorcons. While Rad and Dr. Jones ventured to contact Primus, Miranda and Sally stayed behind, again baking cookies. They continued evading Cruellock drones until Kicker rescued them, reuniting the family in Primus's chamber. Jetfire later transported Miranda and Sally to Ocean Planet. Dr. Jones designed and christened an Autobot-Earth Federation starship the "Miranda II" in her honor; the ship played a significant role until its destruction during the Decepticon occupation of Cybertron. Outside the primary *Energon* narrative, Miranda appeared in spin-off media: in the *Legends* comic, she was among women brought to Legends World by Tigatron's ultra-drill, an effort that failed as the women favored Springer. In *Kre-O* comics, she fled to safety with Sally and Carlos Lopez during a Decepticon combiner attack on the Autobot base.
