Omega Supreme, an ancient Guardian of Cybertron commanded by Omega Sentinel, originates from millions of years ago when he single-handedly battled and defeated the chaos-bringer Unicron. After this victory, he guarded a vast energon supply before entering extended stasis beneath Cybertron's surface.
Dr. Brian Jones, guided by Primus, located his resting place deep within Cybertron as Unicron resurfaced. Reawakened, he joined Optimus Prime's Autobots across a spatial rift to confront Megatron and the resurgent Unicron. During a critical battle where Optimus Prime sustained severe injuries, his resolve resonated with Omega Supreme's Combination Spark, merging them into a new, more powerful form: Optimus Supreme.
As Optimus Supreme, they faced adversaries like Shockblast, who had absorbed Unicron's power and grown in size and insanity. Battling on Blizzard Planet, they separated and reintegrated strategically before Unicron intervened to eliminate Shockblast. Later, against Unicron itself, Primus channeled energon from Cybertron's core to augment Optimus Supreme, enabling them to grow to planetary scale. They constructed an energon arena and destroyed Unicron with Autobot assistance and aligned energon towers.
Following Unicron's defeat, Optimus Prime recovered in stasis on Ocean Planet. Omega Supreme returned to Cybertron to combat Galvatron, who had released toxic energon gas. He provided tactical support, deploying as an armored transport in train mode for Autobot teams infiltrating Central City. He utilized specialized weapon platforms: the Omega Crusher and Omega Force Gun, the latter augmenting Superion Maximus in combat.
Omega Supreme Powerlinxed again with Optimus Prime as Optimus Supreme against Galvatron, who had immersed himself in Super Energon to achieve colossal size. When Galvatron absorbed a fragment of Unicron in space, Omega Supreme engaged him directly to delay his advance. In the final confrontation, he Powerlinxed with Optimus Prime one last time as Optimus Supreme. They grappled with the Unicron-possessed Galvatron near Primus's Super Energon sun, where Galvatron sacrificed himself to destroy Unicron's influence.
His alternate modes include a battleship and a mining vehicle. The battleship features rotating gun emplacements, missile launchers, and electronic sound effects. The mining vehicle incorporates a large claw arm with operational joints and a sliding mechanism for forward extension. A smaller robot component, "Omega," transforms into a head for the combined robot mode, operates independently with ball-jointed articulation, and fits into a cage on the mining vehicle segment. The battleship and mining vehicle combine into a single, elongated unit.
In robot mode, he displays asymmetry: the battleship forms his left side (arm and foot), the mining vehicle forms his right (claw hand). Articulation includes rotating joints at shoulders, hips, and head, plus hinged elbows and ratcheted knees. The Powerlinx combination with Optimus Prime integrates the smaller Prime figure into a cavity within Omega Supreme's torso, attaching smaller vehicle components to designated ports.
He maintains a stoic and solemn demeanor as a last line of defense, his unyielding resolve driven by the belief that determination cannot be conquered. His ancient lineage and pivotal role in Cybertron's most critical battles command deep respect from Autobot leadership.
