Bradley "Rad" White, a human teenager living near the Cosmoscope Research Center, experienced a childhood temporal anomaly revealing visions of Transformers and Mini-Cons, dismissed by his parents as imagination. Years later, exploring mountain caverns with friend Carlos Lopez, he discovered an advanced structure containing a glowing green pentagonal artifact. Contact with this artifact activated a dormant Mini-Con ship, sending signals into space that alerted the Autobots and Decepticons to Earth and reignited their conflict.
This event thrust him directly into the war. He allied with the Autobots alongside Carlos and Alexis Thi Dang, befriending the Street Action Mini-Con Team: High Wire, Grindor, and Sureshock. High Wire formed a deep bond with Rad, later proving crucial during critical moments. Rad frequently joined Autobot missions, using reconnaissance tools like the Mini-Con Laserbeak to locate other Mini-Cons and participating in operations across Antarctica, deserts, and underground temples. He demonstrated a strong moral compass, prioritizing environmental protection during a forest fire and showing concern for civilians.
His actions drew unwanted attention from local bullies Billy and Fred, though they became allies after Rad helped rescue them from Decepticon captivity. Rad witnessed significant events, including the revelation of the Mini-Cons' origins as Unicron's cells. Within Unicron's communal mind during the final battle, his connection with High Wire played a pivotal role in freeing the Mini-Cons from Unicron's control, contributing to the chaos-bringer's defeat.
Ten years later, during Transformers: Energon, he resided on Cybertron as Dr. Jones's assistant, operating in a more background role. He witnessed anti-robot protests in Los Angeles and sought shelter during Terrorcon attacks. His most notable contribution involved piloting the Energon Volant Accumulator (E.V.A.) during Los Angeles's defense, channeling and distributing energon to Autobot forces fighting the Terrorcon invasion.
Years later, during the Cybertron conflict, he appeared alongside Carlos and Alexis to bid farewell to the departing Autobots. He was later seen attending a wedding ceremony in the final episode's end credits.
