Masataka Nakai

Masataka Nakai is a Japanese voice actor and actor from Aichi Prefecture, born on either April 27 or May 27. He began his career in the mid-1990s, with his first credited voice roles appearing in 1995.
Nakai's early work included roles in series such as Nurse Angel Ririka SOS in 1995, the original video animation (OVA)斬鬼者 觉悟 in 1996, and the television anime Mizuiro Jidai in 1997. He continued to build his filmography through the late 1990s and early 2000s with parts in shows like 超速YOYO and the film 少女革命~思春期默示録. In 2001, he voiced the character Jean-Jacques Jacard in the series Dennō Bōkenki Webdiver.
Nakai is perhaps best known in Western fandom for his role in the Transformers franchise. He provided the Japanese voice for the human character Rad in the 2002 anime series Transformers: Armada (known in Japan as Chō Robotto Seimeitai Transformers Micron Densetsu). He later reprised this role, voicing the same character, now named Rad White, in the sequel series Transformers: Energon (Transformers: Superlink) in 2004. In 2004, his other roles included James in the anime adaptation Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple and voicing a character in the long-running series Bleach, where he played the role of 理吉.
Throughout his career, Nakai has frequently collaborated with several other voice actors. He has worked on multiple projects with优希比吕, 置鲇龙太郎, and 三木真一郎, each on three separate occasions.
