TV-Series
Description
Goddess Setsuna presides as the divine overseer of guardian angels, adorned with purple hair styled in an updo and a regal violet ensemble. Her first act intertwines with the protagonist’s fate when she proclaims a reversal of his fortunes, exchanging relentless misfortune for newfound hope. To aid him, she summons three guardian angels—reincarnations of his deceased pets—bound to offer guidance without invoking their celestial abilities. When discord among the angels endangers the protagonist, she temporarily revokes their duties, returning them to the spirit realm, only to later reinstate them alongside new companions, weaving an expanded familial bond.
Her sovereignty unravels when Yuki, one of the guardians, ascends to her role after Setsuna violates divine law, an unspoken transgression aligning the narrative’s pivot toward the angels’ self-discovery and the protagonist’s resilience. Though her active governance concludes with Yuki’s rise, Setsuna’s legacy persists in the guardian angel system she established and the protagonist’s metamorphosis from despair to self-reliance. Her absence marks not an end but an echo, foundational yet distant, as those she once guided forge their own paths.
