Description
Dran, protagonist and leader of the Legendra Braves from Legendra in the Golden Galaxy, awakens when three children—Takuya Harashima, Kazuki Tokimura, and Dai Suganuma—discover his Power Stone buried beneath a time capsule at the Ishinowayama Ruins near their home city. This binds him to the boys as his masters, initiating their quest to locate scattered Power Stones across Earth and beyond.

Transforming into a golden sports car modeled after a McLaren F1, Dran prioritizes speed and agility. He wields the Ryuugaken (Dragon Fang Sword), sheathed on his left side, and executes his signature Inazuma-Giri (Lightning Slash) by channeling lightning into the blade during a leaping strike. As a combining mecha, Dran fuses with the golden dinosaur-like robot Golgon to form the humanoid warrior Goldran, who cannot fly in Earth's atmosphere without support. Further combinations merge him with the ninja-hawk robot Sorakage to create flight-capable Sky Goldran, and with Leon Kaiser to form the ultimate warrior Great Goldran.

Initially neutral, Dran's loyalty aligns solely with whoever holds his Power Stone and recites the revival chant. His bond with the boys evolves from servitude to fierce protectiveness after Takuya sustains an injury, driving Dran to temporarily hunt Power Stones alone. This loyalty manifests violently when antagonists kidnap and brainwash Golgon. A pivotal evolution occurs during a crash on the robotic planet Roborald, where Dran inadvertently activates the reproduction mode of local resident Maria. This results in four children: Dorataro (eldest son), Dorajiro (second son), Dorasaburo (third son), and Dorayo (daughter). Though panicked, Dran embraces newfound familial duties.

In later appearances like *Brave Saga 2*, Dran returns to Earth with comrades, reunites with Maria, marries her, and settles into family life while continuing to aid his original masters, cementing his dual role as warrior and family leader.
