TV-Series
Description
Hanamaru runs a bakery in Numazu, selling homemade sweets and displaying a fondness for delicious food. She works as a pâtissier on the town's streets, contrasting her original counterpart's bookworm tendencies as she is not depicted as a big eater here.

She shares a longstanding childhood friendship with Yohane and has deeply admired Yohane's singing talent since their younger years. Hanamaru is consistently kind and supportive toward friends under all circumstances. Her personality lacks the occasional teasing directed at Yohane seen in other interpretations, instead showing uniform friendliness.

Acting as Yohane's primary confidante, Hanamaru plays a pivotal role in helping Yohane emerge from self-imposed isolation. She facilitates Yohane's reconnection with Numazu and assists her in forming new friendships. Hanamaru actively encourages Yohane to engage with the community and rediscover appreciation for her hometown.

Her daily life involves selling fruits and vegetables alongside her baked goods, often accompanied by Shishinoshin, a large boar-like animal. Throughout Yohane's journey of self-discovery and efforts to address mysterious disturbances affecting Numazu, Hanamaru remains present, offering encouragement and practical support.
