Kazuto Nagato pilots Rugger #15, an All-Terrain Space Exploration Cruiser, as part of the Land Team (Walter Team) within the Rugger Guard exploration force. His vehicle transforms into Dairugger's left foot during the super robot's assembly. Under Land Team commander Walter Jack, he operates alongside teammates Mack Chakker piloting Rugger #13, Moya Kirigas in Rugger #12, and Tasuku Izu controlling Rugger #14—which forms Dairugger's right foot. The Land Team's Ruggers first merge into the intermediate robot Rickrugger, which subsequently combines with the Air Team's Kurugger and Sea Team's Kairugger to complete the formation of the super robot Dairugger.
