Description
Dark Scream operates as a Predacon under Megatron's command, forming the "Predacon Trio" with Slapper and Gas Skunk. This bumbling oaf presents an oddly innocent humor despite his evil allegiance, occasionally bursting into song. He generally supports his commander Sky-Byte, though he joins in mocking him.

In combat, he wields a sword and freeze ray but lacks the strength to seriously threaten opponents. His value lies in aerial transport and reconnaissance, despite notably clumsy flying skills. He obediently executes ruthless orders—attacking cargo transports and planting bombs in civilian hubs—yet remains comparatively harmless among Predacons.

Throughout missions for Megatron and Sky-Byte, he disrupts energy symposiums, battles Autobots including Optimus Prime and Side Burn, assaults infrastructure like the Linear RFG bullet train and bridges, and attempts thefts of energy generators, plutonium devices, or rubies. These endeavors consistently collapse into retreat or failure, often due to Autobot interference or his own blunders: he once froze himself with a deflected beam in Metro City and was flattened by Team Bullet Train during a steam train heist.

His schemes involve capturing and brainwashing Autobots like Tow-Line, spying on enemies, and impersonating others such as X-Brawn. Such plots regularly backfire, hastening the Predacons' decline after Megatron deploys superior Decepticons. Reduced to secondary status, Dark Scream and his trio occasionally hatch independent operations—like disguising as Autobots to undermine Decepticon efforts—to regain favor.

During the final conflict, he witnesses Megatron’s rebirth as Galvatron and Scourge’s rebellion. Following Galvatron’s defeat, authorities imprison Dark Scream and his trio aboard Fortress Maximus for transport to Cybertron. In captivity, they brood over Sky-Byte’s abandonment on Earth, deeming it crueler than their own incarceration.
