Tasked alongside two fellow Beast Warriors, Wan and Bud, Mei Mah defends her tribe’s ancient legacy against threats.

Her humanoid form shifts to a mermaid’s porpoise-like tail under specific triggers: contact with water, surges of anger, emotional anguish that draws tears, or encounters with fish-themed toys. These crystalline tears solidify into pearls, tangible echoes of her feelings.

After humans from the southern hemisphere capture her and her comrades, Mei Mah breaks free with aid from Yuuni Charm Password, a determined human girl, and her inventive grandfather. While journeying to unlock the secrets of the Gaia network, she balances shrewd problem-solving with a whimsical fixation on glittering treasures.

Accompanied by Tuttle Millen, a shapeshifting Mermaid Tribesman who becomes a sea turtle, she harnesses the Sea Totem’s power to summon mechanized Beast Lords. Her dual role as royal heir and guardian binds her to preserving both her tribe’s sovereignty and the fragile equilibrium between the world’s fractured hemispheres.
