Description
Frosch is an Exceed, a small anthropomorphic cat-like being with green fur, black eyes, and distinctive rosy cheeks. As a member of the Sabertooth guild, Frosch partners with Rogue Cheney in the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth team. The character wears a pink frog-like suit covering the entire body except the face, featuring black spots, webbed hands, and a hood shaped like a frog's head. This suit originated from Frosch's childhood dream of becoming a frog, a wish fulfilled when Rogue gifted the costume.

Frosch exhibits a happy-go-lucky personality, frequently speaking in the third person and readily agreeing with others. The character often asks questions perceived as redundant, leading to admonishment from fellow Exceed Lector. Frosch demonstrates strong loyalty and emotional attachment to Rogue, consistently expressing concern during dangerous situations. This protective instinct manifested when Frosch intervened in Rogue's fight with Gajeel Redfox, attempting to shield Rogue. Frosch also maintained a close bond with former Sabertooth member Yukino Agria, showing visible sadness following her excommunication.

During the Grand Magic Games in Crocus, Frosch witnessed Yukino's excommunication with distress and later expressed fear about potential expulsion from Sabertooth due to perceived weakness. Rogue reassured Frosch this fear was unfounded because of their partnership. Frosch observed tournament battles, including Rogue and Sting Eucliffe's tag-team match against Natsu Dragneel and Gajeel. Emotional reactions occurred throughout, particularly when Lector disappeared during Jiemma's punishment of the Twin Dragons, leaving Frosch visibly depressed until learning of Lector's survival.

Future Rogue Cheney revealed that Frosch's death in his original timeline triggered his descent into darkness. He warned Natsu Dragneel that Frosch would die within one year unless protected, specifically naming Gray Fullbuster as the perpetrator. Approximately one year later, during the Avatar arc, Natsu intervened to protect Frosch by redirecting Rogue. Frosch approached Gray during Avatar's defeat, but instead of violence, Gray showed affection, preventing the prophesied death and altering the timeline.

Frosch possesses Aera magic common to Exceeds, enabling flight through angelic wings, though no evidence suggests the wings manifest externally while wearing the frog suit. The character demonstrates no notable combat capabilities beyond the enhanced durability and strength typical of Exceeds. Intelligence is described as below average.

Relationships define Frosch's character. The bond with Rogue forms the emotional core, characterized by mutual devotion and trust. Frosch considers Lector a close companion. The character's connection to Yukino persisted despite her guild exile.
