Ryuichi Watanabe, a bespectacled student at Emperor High School, serves as one of Hinako Shiratori's close associates alongside Kansuke Matsuri. He actively resists Ganpachi Chabane's attempts to impose discipline at the school. After an encounter with Dwai Kan-Chen's group at a convenience store leaves Ryuichi and Kansuke injured, they urge Hinako to return to Emperor High School and resume her leadership against Ganpachi's forces.
