After King Mendez’s death, Kerachi supported the ascension of the younger Prince Siplay, anticipating the new king’s endorsement of his hawkish policies and a swift, decisive war.

Kerachi’s belligerence directly fueled the declaration of war against Zafrin, driven by his conviction of Rivilia’s superiority and an easy victory. He disregarded intelligence on Zafrin’s military capabilities, including the discovery of their massive Decimator weapon, Verifer. His strategic miscalculations and warmongering persisted even as the conflict intensified and the Verifer advanced toward Rivilian territory.

Kerachi’s political downfall came when Prince Perion, the elder prince, seized power with military backing from figures like Lieutenant Manning. Perion reversed Kerachi’s policies and stripped him of influence, ending his role in the war effort.
