Description
Iczer-2 is an artificial life form, specifically a gynoid or bioroid weapon, created by the alien entity known as Big Gold. Her primary purpose for existence is to serve as a direct counterpart and rival to Iczer-1, whom she addresses as big sister. Designed to counter Iczer-1 in combat, she is an embodiment of her creator's will and is initially defined by a thoroughly evil and ruthless nature.

In terms of personality, Iczer-2 is characterized by profound egoism, arrogance, cruelty, and a complete absence of empathy. She is relentless in her tactics, often targeting innocent civilians, such as the young girl Sayoko, to provoke her enemies and inflict psychological suffering. Her demeanor is more aggressive than her sister, and she can be dismissive, as shown when she betrays and bisects an ally who underestimates her. She views combat not just as a means to an end, but as the inherent purpose of all Iczers, a philosophy that directly conflicts with the beliefs of her younger sister, Iczer-3.

Her single-minded motivation is to eliminate Iczer-1. This obsession defines her actions, and she rejects any other purpose or master. When she is later resurrected by the antagonist Neos Gold, she flatly refuses to submit to this new authority, reiterating that her only desire is to fight Iczer-1. Neos Gold manipulates her by claiming that killing Iczer-3 will force Iczer-1 to return for a rematch, a lie that Iczer-2 eagerly pursues. This reveals that beneath her malice, her drive is not for power but for a singular, destructive confrontation with her designated rival.

Iczer-2 plays the role of a major antagonist in the narrative. She is introduced as a formidable threat that appears on Earth to continue the conflict against Iczer-1. She pilots the giant mecha known as Iczer Sigma, which is her counterpart to Iczer-1's Iczer Robo. To fully utilize her mecha's power, she requires a synchronization partner, a task assigned to her by Big Gold in the form of Sepia, a grief-stricken alien warrior. However, the bond between Iczer-2 and Sepia is fragile, as Iczer-2’s cruel actions often break their synchronization and lead to strategic failures.

The most critical relationship is, of course, with her sister and nemesis, Iczer-1. Their dynamic is a central conflict, moving from a straightforward hunter-prey relationship to something more complex. In their first major battle, Iczer-2 defeats a wounded Iczer-1 but is ultimately slain in a later confrontation after Iczer-1 fully synchronizes with her human partner, Nagisa Kanō. Iczer-2's dying moments reveal a twisted desire for a partner like Nagisa, exposing a sense of existential loneliness and envy for the bond her sister shares with a human.

Her character undergoes significant development following her resurrection by Neos Gold in the sequel story. After being defeated by Iczer-1 a second time, she is not killed. Instead, Iczer-1 spares her life, vowing not to let another sister die in battle. This unexpected act of mercy and acknowledgment of their shared origin becomes a turning point. Iczer-2 shifts her allegiance, uniting with Iczer-1 and Iczer-3 against their common enemy, Neos Gold. Her arc evolves from being a purely engineered antagonist to a figure who, having rejected both villainy and the kinship offered by her sisters, ultimately chooses her own path. At the end of the conflict, she departs Earth alone to wander the universe, a solitary existence that suggests a newfound, albeit ambiguous, autonomy.

In terms of notable abilities, Iczer-2 is a powerful combatant with powers nearly identical to Iczer-1's. She possesses superhuman strength, agility, the ability to teleport, shift between dimensions, and levitate. Her standard armament includes generating energy swords at will and projecting destructive energy beams. Her physical strength and destructive capacity are extraordinarily high, with some sources noting she can operate at multi-solar system levels. Her primary vehicle of combat is the Iczer Sigma, a mecha that serves as her other self. This unit has unique capabilities, including deploying floating mines and channeling powerful atmospheric energy discharges in combat. However, unlike her sister, Iczer-2 notably lacks the ability to travel through time.
