OVA
Description
Takeshi Yoroi serves as the secret identity of the superhero Hurricane Polymar. His birth name is Takeshi Onigawara, son of Toragoro Onigawara, Chief of the International Secret Police Agency. Trained by his father for investigative work, Takeshi developed conflicting crime-fighting philosophies, resulting in his disownment. He adopted the alias Takeshi Yoroi and secured a position as an assistant at the Kuruma Detective Agency, leveraging this role to gather criminal intelligence.

His powers originated from rescuing scientist Dr. Oleger from the Onitokage syndicate. Dr. Oleger perished in his lab's destruction but entrusted Takeshi with the Polymet, an artificial polymer compound forming a shape-shifting suit. Concealed within his motorcycle helmet, the helmet activates the suit.

As Hurricane Polymar, Takeshi wields the Polymet suit, granting augmented strength, high-speed rotation, and rapid regeneration. Its signature ability is voluntary shapeshifting into five distinct vehicles: the Polymar Hawk supersonic jet, the Polymar Grampus submarine, the Polymar Drill tank equipped with twin drills, the Polymar Machine race car, and the Polymar Roller steamroller. Magnetism powers the suit, limiting operation to precisely 46 minutes and one second before risking lethal hyperthermia. High-voltage electricity and temperatures below −50°C disrupt its magnetic properties, creating critical vulnerabilities.

A master martial artist, Takeshi practices the Illusionary Destruction Fist (Ha Ri Ken) style, enabling combat techniques like the Geien Hakai Ken that generate disorienting afterimages. He holds third-dan black belts in judo and karate, making him formidable without the suit.

In the "Holy Blood" OVA, Takeshi confronts Nova and the Catsharks after they steal Polymar technology from Tokyo Plus. Thrust into preventing Nova's global threat, he employs enhanced karate and vehicular transformations against evolved adversaries like Nina, depicted as the sole successor to the Polymar legacy following Dr. Oleger's demise.

The 2017 live-action film reimagines his background: the Polymar Suit is a government weapon, and Takeshi is a former street fighter turned detective. Activated by a specific voice pattern, he allies with researcher Rei Hieda and detective Jōichi Kuruma to recover stolen prototype suits, uncovering conspiracies within the defense establishment and battling villains like Bullet Wong and Gozo Kitou wielding corrupted Polymar suits.

Across media, Takeshi maintains his secret identity, known only to his pet St. Bernard, Baron (Danshaku). Allies include detective Joe Kuruma and Teru Nanba, the latter often demonstrating combat prowess. While Teru admires Polymar, she remains dismissive of Takeshi's civilian persona.

In crossovers like "Infini-T Force" and "Tatsunoko vs. Capcom", Takeshi fights alongside other heroes against collective threats, retaining core abilities and suit vulnerabilities while adjusting design elements, such as replacing the aqua tunic with black.
