Description
Bokko serves as a primary character, a galactic agent dispatched by the Galactic Federation to evaluate Earth's potential threat level and determine if planetary destruction is warranted.
For this mission, Bokko operates undercover within a trio of agents, taking squirrel form while the others become a horse and a duck. They befriend a young Earth boy during their investigation, using this interaction to study human behavior and civilization.
During production, an external challenge arose. A character named Chip from the separate series "Space Boy Zoran," initially designed as a squirrel, bore significant resemblance to Bokko. This prompted Chip's redesign into a rabbit named Hopps. Consequently, "Space Boy Zoran" relocated its publication from Weekly Shonen Magazine to Weekly Shonen Sunday to prevent market confusion with Bokko's series.
