Description
Carson D. Carson, a roguish Vizorium smuggler, narrowly escapes the protagonists’ initial raid on his crew, only to reemerge on Agerna. There, he infiltrates mining complexes via ventilation shafts, inadvertently crashing into the protagonists’ bath during a botched infiltration. Detained briefly, his confinement is cut short by attacks from genetically engineered beasts, compelling a tense collaboration. Stranded in undergarments after losing his clothes to a prank, he navigates chaos with dark humor, his true agenda revealed as the pursuit of a coveted World War II-era wine bottle—a prize he prioritizes over the broader conflict involving a mad scientist’s experiments.

During a skirmish with Dr. Wattsman’s enforcer Bruno, Carson brawls fiercely to claim the wine, surviving the clash presumed fatal. He later aids in neutralizing the antagonists, though his motivations remain self-serving. His survival and unwavering focus on the vintage underscore his opportunism. Despite contributing to the protagonists’ victory, his criminal past casts doubt on his fate, hinting at impending reckoning for prior smuggling crimes.

Carson’s rapport with the protagonists oscillates between friction and grudging teamwork, showcasing his cunning and adaptability. A fleeting spark of romantic tension with one protagonist flickers but dims against his pragmatic priorities. His story concludes without clarity on future legal consequences, leaving his trajectory as unpredictable as his schemes.
