His criminal record spans murder, assault, currency and ID forgery, embezzlement, public property damage, and aviation, space, and criminal regulation violations. Incarcerated in an orbital penitentiary, he was recruited into the Cyber Police unit under Chief Hasegawa's supervision to reduce his sentence. A condition of his release is an explosive collar detonating if missions overrun or if tampered with.
