Princess Alfin of Planet Pizanne in the Cygnus Zone, born January 12, 2144, abdicated her royal status after Joe's Crushers thwarted a coup during the "Crisis on Solidarity Planet Pizanne" mission. She then sneaked aboard the Crusher ship Minerva, permanently joining Joe's crew as navigator, replacing the deceased Gambino.

Perky, bubbly, and quick-witted, Alfin possesses a surprising fearlessness in dangerous situations despite her royal upbringing and a tendency to become easily intoxicated. She engages in frequent sibling-like sparring with the youngest crew member, Ricky, and openly displays affection towards Joe, with whom she shares a romantic relationship.

Alfin functions as a capable fighter and pilot within the team. Her combat proficiency includes piloting starfighters and armored personnel carriers, alongside skilled use of guns, grenades, and rocket launchers, actively contributing to the Crushers' missions.

Alfin also appears in the OVAs "Crusher Joe: The Ice Prison," featuring a swimsuit mishap with Ricky, and "Crusher Joe: The Ultimate Weapon: Ash." The manga adaptation closely follows her portrayal in the novels. She makes background cameo appearances in the Dirty Pair franchise, such as appearing on a monitor in "Dirty Pair: Project Eden."
