Description
Akiko Natsume is an executive at Mishima Heavy Industries assigned to a secret department focused on retrieving the escaped prototype android, Androrobot Atsuko Higuchi. Her mission mandates recovering the prototype intact or destroying it if recovery fails. Despite her demanding corporate role, Akiko maintains her family life with her husband, Kyusaku Natsume, and their son, Ryunosuke Natsume.
She utilizes Mishima agents and experimental technology to locate Atsuko Higuchi, but these operations are consistently thwarted when the android activates her defensive "tactical mode." Akiko reports these failures to corporate superiors.
Akiko increasingly suspects the motives and methods of the newly appointed branch president, who consolidates power through manipulation and potentially illegitimate actions. She formally alerts Mishima's executive board about his conduct. This leads Akiko and the board to confront the president within the corporate facility. During the confrontation, the president subdues the executives with his personal android aide and takes Akiko hostage.
While held captive, the president reveals classified information about the origins of the Atsuko Higuchi prototype and discloses the existence of its counterpart android, designated for destruction.
