TV-Series
Description
Kurozukin Yakko, alternatively called Black Riding Hood Yakko or Black-Hooded Yakko, is Chacha’s classmate in Urara School’s Banana Class, taught by Teacher Rascal. She dons a signature black hooded cloak, a dark blue dress, dark blue flats, and diamond-shaped earrings, with royal purple hair cut in asymmetrical bangs. Though visually reminiscent of Chacha’s hooded style, Yakko avoids being a pure antagonist counterpart.

Her magic centers on alchemy and potion-making over traditional spells, showcasing inventive proficiency in magical artifacts and concoctions. This potion-crafting defines her primary magical ability. Initial hostility toward Chacha arises from jealousy over Chacha’s bond with Seravy, whom Yakko intensely idolizes romantically. She repeatedly challenges Chacha, aiming to become Seravy’s exclusive student to win his affection.

Yakko shares a close friendship with classmate Orin and frequently appears alongside Marin, despite their contrasting temperaments. She unites with Chacha, Riiya, Shiine, Marin, Orin, Seravy, and Dorothy as one of the Eight Holy Warriors of Love, Courage, and Hope during the battle against Daimaō at his castle. This cooperation highlights her ability to set aside rivalries for collective threats.

Across the television series, OVAs, and manga sequel *Akazukin Chacha N*, Yakko’s role persists without significant evolution or expanded backstory beyond school dynamics and interactions with the core cast. She remains a supporting character anchored by her potion expertise, unrequited feelings for Seravy, and recurring rivalry with Chacha.
