Mayumi Akado is a Japanese voice actress born on June 28, 1965, in Fukushima, Japan. She was affiliated with the talent agency Realize.

Akado is best known for her role as Yakko in the anime series Akazukin Chacha, also known as Lil' Red Riding Hood Cha-Cha. She voiced the character of Yakko, a rival and classmate of the main character, for 42 episodes of the television series which aired from 1994 to 1995. She also reprised the role of Yakko for the Akazukin Chacha OVA series in 1995.

Her other notable anime roles from the 1990s include Babbit in Kodomo no Omocha (also known as Child's Toy or Kodocha) in 1996. In the early 2000s, she voiced Tanaka-san in the series Full Moon o Sagashite (titled Searching for the Full Moon or Full Moon) in 2002. Another later role was the mother of Ma-kun, credited as Ma-kun's Mama (Morita-san), in the anime Mainichi Kaa-san in 2009.

Throughout her career, Akado has had recurring collaborations with several other voice actors and actresses, including multiple projects with Suzuki Masami, Shimamoto Sumi, Matsuno Taiki, and Namiki Noriko, among others.
