Description
Aderishia, alternately recorded as Adelishia in certain texts, acts as a priestess of Rahda, deity of knowledge, tasked with mentoring Prince Redon through the aftermath of his parents’ assassination. Her composed wisdom steers her to wield Rahda’s potent magic sparingly, reserving it for crises endangering masses. This foreign power disrupts Crystania’s divine equilibrium, drawing suspicion from local gods and their adherents.

Her past entangles with Da’nan’s political unrest, where she forewarns Lord Haven of a coup. After Haven’s demise, she escapes with Redon and his allies into Crystania via the Gods’ Wall. Along their journey, her magic aids in repelling attacks by Rumiss’ devotees and Barbas’ forces, though its deployment alarms Crystania’s guardians, who deem it a threat to stability.

Aderishia’s grasp of Crystania’s lore and celestial rivalries illuminates the land’s strife, including Barbas’ manipulation of Ashram’s corpse to seize authority. Captured by Barbas’ allies—Garudi and Muha—she becomes a pawn as figures like Mahu attempt to siphon Rahda’s magic, believing it could surpass the strength of Crystania’s own gods.

Her alliance with Sheru (Pirotess) underscores a shared resistance against Barbas. While shielding Redon and minimizing bloodshed, her influence sparks coalitions opposing the god-king. Each choice reflects her loyalty to Rahda’s tenets, navigating ethical dilemmas amid a realm hostile to outsiders, where restraint and mentorship collide with the urgency of survival.
