Description
The Queen of Silverland is wife to the King and mother to Princess Sapphire. From the beginning, she is complicit in the deception that her daughter was born male, a necessary act to prevent the corrupt Duke Duralumin from inheriting under the kingdom's male-only succession laws. She bears this secret as a crushing burden, enduring significant emotional distress while witnessing the complexities and dangers Sapphire faces living as Prince Sapphire. She deeply wishes she could openly acknowledge her daughter's true identity but understands the grave political consequences.

This emotional burden leads to a pivotal moment of vulnerability: drugged by the villainous Sir Nylon, she inadvertently reveals Sapphire's true gender publicly. This disclosure results in her arrest alongside Sapphire on treason charges. Subsequently, she and the King are captured by forces aligned with Duke Duralumin and the invading warlord Mr. X. They are imprisoned and later executed by being cast into the sea during the conflict orchestrated by Mr. X's forces.

Following the final battle where Sapphire defeats Mr. X, the angel Tink pleads to God, offering his own life in exchange for the resurrection of the King and Queen. This sacrifice is accepted, restoring her to life alongside her husband.

During periods of the King's absence—whether due to death, imprisonment, or other incapacitation—she assumes the responsibility of overseeing the kingdom's governance, demonstrating her role as a stabilizing regent. Her character remains defined by profound maternal loyalty, the heavy emotional toll of the royal secret, and unwavering support for her daughter amidst political turmoil. Her narrative arc concludes with her restoration to life and throne alongside the King.
