Description
The character, mother to the protagonist and queen to the reigning monarch, navigates the oppressive constraints of patriarchal succession laws that force her child to mask their true gender to claim the throne. Her anguish over this enforced deception permeates her actions, revealing a heart fractured by duty and love. When antagonists orchestrate her drugging, the secret unravels publicly, culminating in her arrest for treason alongside the protagonist.

During a violent coup, she and the king are seized by their foes and condemned to a fatal plunge into the sea—a death that ignites the protagonist’s resolve to challenge the central antagonist. Through divine forces awakened by another’s sacrificial act, her fate is overturned, restoring her to life in the story’s final arc.

Her narrative threads through themes of maternal devotion, the weight of sacrifice, and the corrosive toll of political machinations. The relentless pressure to uphold lies under tyrannical systems exposes both her fragility and fortitude, framing her journey as a testament to endurance amid betrayal and loss.
