Description
Pierre Burnier resides in the Swiss mountain village of Rossinière with his children, Annette and Daniel (Dani). His wife, Francine, passed away shortly after Dani's birth, making Pierre the sole caregiver. Seeing the heavy burden placed on young Annette, who had assumed significant childcare and household duties, Pierre invited his aunt, Claude Martha, to live with them and help raise the children, bringing stability to the family.

After Dani suffered a severe leg injury in an accident, Pierre concentrated on managing the family's well-being and medical needs. He did not blame Lucien Morel for the incident, unlike some villagers, maintaining a compassionate view of the accidental nature and refusing resentment. Pierre consistently urged Annette to let go of her anger and forgive Lucien, prioritizing understanding over condemnation.

Throughout the series, Pierre emerges as a gentle, rational presence, offering emotional support to both children during Dani's recovery. His actions demonstrate a steady commitment to fostering a stable, forgiving home environment, particularly as he worked to mend the fractured relationship between Annette and Lucien. Pierre Burnier's character appears solely within the main series.
