Description
Alisa Takakura is a 21-year-old woman distinguished by her white hair and violet eyes. Extensive cybernetic enhancements replace body parts lost during a failed bank heist, an event that irrevocably altered her path. Before joining the private security force Angel Arms, she operated within a criminal organization alongside her lover, Jean Luc Skinner. Jean Luc seemingly died shielding her during the heist, inflicting both the physical trauma necessitating her cybernetics and persistent psychological wounds that erupt in nightmares. She conceals this past from her Angel Arms teammates, fostering isolation within the group and cementing her reputation as a reckless loner prone to self-endangering tactics. While her superior, Takako Houraiji, knows her criminal history and keeps it secret, this fuels distrust among other members who view Alisa as a potential liability despite acknowledging her exceptional, reportedly superior combat skills.
Within Angel Arms, Alisa pilots the black Landmate mecha unit "Dolche," demonstrating a headstrong and often ruthless approach in combat. Her core conflict ignites upon discovering Jean Luc survived the heist and resurfaces as an assassin targeting arms dealer Ali Hassan – a man Angel Arms must protect for his value against terrorism. This revelation forces her to confront buried feelings for Jean Luc and her former identity, creating intense internal conflict over her loyalties. She must choose between her past affiliations or her present role and fragile connections within Angel Arms. This culminates in a decisive confrontation where she prioritizes protecting Hassan and the mission over her history with Jean Luc, symbolizing her commitment to this second chance. Her experiences explore themes of redemption and the psychological burden of concealed trauma.
