Milia Fallyna Jenius originated as a Zentradi ace pilot in the Lap Lamiz fleet during Space War I, operating the formidable Queadluun-Rau powered suit and earning respect from male pilots for her combat skills. Defeated in battle by human pilot Maximilian Jenius, she pursued her honor by undergoing micronization to infiltrate the SDF-1 Macross. During her espionage mission, she encountered Max at an arcade where his superior performance in a Valkyrie simulation game confirmed his identity as her past adversary. Driven initially by revenge, Milia arranged a meeting intending to stab Max. When he disarmed her without retaliation, her hatred transformed into love, culminating in their marriage in January 2010 – the first human-Zentradi union and a symbol of emerging peace. Defecting to the UN Spacy, she became Max's wingmate, piloting a distinctive red VF-1J Valkyrie. In combat, she championed capturing Zentradi foes over killing them, a tactic that spurred mutinies and facilitated ceasefires. Post-war, Milia and Max settled on Earth to start a family. The birth of their first daughter, Komilia Maria Fallyna Jenius, in 2011 profoundly impacted Milia, a cloned warrior experiencing biological creation for the first time. They eventually had seven biological daughters between 2011 and 2031, including Mylene Flare Jenius, and adopted one Zentradi girl, Moaramia Fallyna Jenius. Milia faced a nearly fatal second pregnancy. Strategically, during a factory satellite capture, Milia and Max presented infant Komilia to hostile Zentradi, leveraging the child's existence as psychological warfare to induce retreats. In later decades, Milia transitioned to leadership. By 2045, she served as mayor of City 7 in the Macross 7 fleet while Max commanded Battle 7. Professional demands strained their marriage, leading to separation before eventual reconciliation. As mayor, she focused on civic governance and attempted matchmaking for daughter Mylene. Despite her political role, she retained elite piloting skills, periodically deploying in combat. She flew her classic red VF-1J and later advanced craft like the VF-17D Nightmare and VF-22S Sturmvogel II, all maintaining her signature red scheme. She fought alongside Max in the Protodeviln conflict's final battle against Lord Geperuniti. Milia evolved from a ruthless warrior into a complex figure balancing motherhood, political leadership, and military service. Her legacy includes pioneering human-Zentradi integration and influencing later Macross narratives through descendants like Mylene and thematic successors such as Klan Klang in Macross Frontier.
