Description
Arago, a human from the Heian period, forged a worldview of survival through strength after a childhood steeped in conflict. His relentless ambition drove him to bargain with the Youja World, a domain of malevolent spirits, gaining demonic armor that mirrored the Kikoutei armor’s power. This armor embodied his corruption and thirst for dominion.

Launching a failed invasion of the mortal realm, Arago fell to the warrior-mage Kaos, who shattered his armor into nine fragments. Each piece, infused with a virtue, was dispersed among human bloodlines to hinder his revival. Sealed within the Youja World—a realm meant to purify souls—Arago’s hatred defied cleansing, allowing him to fester as a spectral menace. Over centuries, he fed on humanity’s burgeoning darkness to rebuild his strength.

Resurfacing in the modern era as a colossal spectral helmet, Arago commanded four Dark Warlords (Masho), corrupted warriors wielding four armor fragments. He twisted their armors’ virtues—loyalty, obedience, filial piety, and endurance—into tools of conquest, seeking to reclaim all fragments and unleash his full might.

The Samurai Troopers, bearers of the remaining five armors, countered his schemes. Bolstered by Kaos’ wisdom and the redemption of several Masho, their unity shattered Arago’s spirit. Yet his influence lingered, fueling future conflicts through residual armor fragments.

Expanded lore revealed Arago’s armor as a manifestation of humanity’s collective malice, granting immortality tethered to human suffering. A novel depicted his rebirth as a pure demon, severing his last human ties. The OVA *Message* showed his armor resurging through despair, demanding the Troopers’ eternal vigilance.

Though defeated in the TV series, Arago’s essence endured. Subsequent OVAs chronicled his cyclical threats, born from the armors’ dual nature and humanity’s perpetual struggle between virtue and corruption.
