Description
Héctor, originally named Ryo Sanada, belonged to the Sanada ninja clan, historically linked to Sanada Yukimura. His wildlife photographer father left the family due to disagreements with its strict rules, raising Ryo with minimal supervision in Yamanashi's mountains after Ryo's mother died in his early childhood. This isolation fostered a deep respect for nature and wildlife, leading to friendships with wild animals but leaving him unversed in urban life or human peers.

As a child, Ryo encountered the white tiger Byakuen three times (1977, 1980, 1983). Byakuen saved him from mountain injuries during these meetings, orchestrated by the mystic Kaos. Kaos recognized Ryo's innate "benevolent heart" ("Jin") and selected him a year before the conflict with Arago to wield the Rekka (Wildfire) armor. Kaos trained Ryo in the mountains to prepare him physically and mentally.

Ryo embodies honesty and determination, often pushing himself to exhaustion to protect others. He is marked by impulsiveness and a strong sense of responsibility. His rural background means he is unfamiliar with urban trends and fashion, favoring simple clothing like sweatshirts and jeans. His hobbies include leisurely mountain walks and soccer, while he dislikes shaved ice, interviews, and lukewarm baths.

He wields the Armor of Wildfire, representing the element of fire and the Confucian virtue of Jin. Its primary weapons are the dual Swords of Wildfire, combining into a double-bladed weapon. His signature attack is "Sou En Zan" (Twin Flame Cut). The armor grants immunity to flames and enhances his natural leadership, enabling him to inspire allies and spark redemption in enemies like the demon generals Shuten Douji and Kenbukyo. Mutual trust among the five warriors unlocks the Kikoutei (Inferno) armor, a white armor formed by combining their powers. Paired with the Swords of Fervor, it unleashes the "Rage of Inferno" (Chōdandō Senkōzan), a planet-level destructive attack. Both armors are destroyed after battling Mukala and the Black Inferno Armor.

Throughout the conflict with Arago, Ryo's resolve is tested. He initially struggles with despair confronting Arago's power but ultimately summons the Kikoutei armor through heroic resolve. His bond with Byakuen remains central, the tiger acting as surrogate family. In the OVAs: *Gaiden* sees him support allies like Sage; *Kikoutei Densetsu* depicts his armor corrupted and destroyed; *Message* shows him receiving new armor from Suzunagi.

Ryo's development emphasizes growth from solitary mountain dweller to unifying leader. His "Jin" virtue drives actions like surrendering to save hostages, astonishing allies and highlighting his unwavering moral compass. His legacy includes inspiring others to embrace benevolence and solidarity, cementing his role as the heart of the warriors.
