Hermes Baroli is a Brazilian-American voice actor and voice director with a extensive career in dubbing, primarily known for his work in Brazilian Portuguese adaptations of anime and live-action productions. He began his career in voice acting at the age of ten, after being invited by a director to record a voice for the film Superman IV while accompanying his mother, who was also a voice actor, at a dubbing session. Baroli comes from a family with a strong legacy in the Brazilian voice acting industry, as his parents and sisters are also voice actors. His mother, Zodja Pereira, serves as his manager, and he is married to fellow voice actress and director Letícia Grassi.

Over a career spanning more than thirty years, Baroli has become one of the most recognized voice actors in Brazil. His most iconic and longstanding role was providing the Brazilian Portuguese voice for Seiya, the protagonist of the Saint Seiya franchise, a character he voiced for 28 years across various series, including The Hades Chapter - Sanctuary, The Hades Chapter - Inferno, and The Hades Chapter - Elysion. This role is particularly significant as the anime was a major phenomenon in Brazil and helped foster public appreciation for voice actors in the country.

Beyond Saint Seiya, Baroli's extensive filmography includes a wide array of anime characters. He voiced Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist, Joe Kido in Digimon, Kojiro Hyuga in Captain Tsubasa J, Yuichiro Kurono in Fire Force, Marat in First Squad - The Moment Of Truth, and William Hastings in Requiem of the Rose King. He has also contributed to the Brazilian dubs of popular series such as My Hero Academia, Fruits Basket, and Attack on Titan.

In addition to animation, Baroli has been the official Brazilian Portuguese voice for numerous Hollywood actors, including Ashton Kutcher, Edward Norton, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, James Franco, and Owen Wilson. His work has also extended to live-action series like Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead.

In 2005, Baroli and his mother founded the dubbing studio and school DuBrasil in São Paulo, which has since trained over 2,000 actors for the dubbing market and become a significant studio in Brazil. In 2018, he made a significant career move, relocating from São Paulo to Los Angeles to begin working in English dubbing and localization, a decision he described as a major risk that involved leaving behind his established body of work in Brazil. His first experience as an English dubbing director was for the Brazilian Netflix series The Mechanism in 2019. He continues to work as a voice actor and director at VSI Los Angeles, while also recording roles for Brazilian Portuguese dubs from his home studio.
