Description
Gushoshin Arancio is one of a pair of identical twin bird-like creatures serving as librarians within Meifu's afterlife institution. Collectively known as Gushoshin, Arancio is distinguished as the elder brother. Their primary role involves overseeing the archives in Meifu's library.
Physically avian, Gushoshin possess wings and bird-like features while retaining the ability to speak human language. During the Nagasaki investigation arc, specifically the "Vampire Case" involving victims with bite marks and blood loss, Gushoshin Arancio accompanied Asato Tsuzuki to the mortal world to assist. However, Arancio became delayed by grocery tasks, leaving Tsuzuki to investigate alone for a time.
Later, during Tsuzuki's confrontation in Glover Garden where Hisoka Kurosaki held him at gunpoint, Arancio and his twin intervened, assisting in Tsuzuki's rescue.
